10216-1: Winter Village Bakery

Postby gozzi85 » Mon Apr 23, 2012 8:55 am

This is a LEGO sets that I received for my birthday and I decided to make one version for SR 3D Builder. There are some parts that I cannot put in the project because I don't know how to use the stickers. If anyone has any suggestions contact me in pvt or replay at this post :).

Hi,

I was impressed very much by the first rendering picture. 0_0;; Wow...

If you don't mind, could I ask how you made a light & shadow effect from the lightbrick in the scene?

Hi KWON, in the POV-Ray file, generated with L3P, I found the lightbrick part and I've put a light source. This is part of code of the .POV file of the scene of your interest.

Code: Select all

#declare u9158_dot_dat = #if (QUAL = 0) box { <-30,-4,-20>, <38,33.728,20> } #else union {
// Electric Light Brick  2 x  3 x  1.333
// Name: u9158.dat
// Author: Philippe Hurbain [Philo]
// !LDRAW_ORG Unofficial_Part
// !LICENSE Redistributable under CCAL version 2.0 : see CAreadme.txt
// BFC CERTIFY CCW
        // create a regular point light source
        // create a point "spotlight" (conical directed) light source
        light_source {
        0*x              // light's position (translated below)
        color rgb <1,0.3922,0>       // light's color
        spotlight               // this kind of light source
        translate <-20, 40, -20>// <x y z> position of light
        point_at <0, 0, 0>      // direction of spotlight
        radius 5                // hotspot (inner, in degrees)
        tightness 50            // tightness of falloff (1...100) lower is softer, higher is tighter
        falloff 8               // intensity falloff radius (outer, in degrees)
        }

        light_source {
                0*x                  // light's position (translated below)
                color rgb <1,0.3922,0>    // light's color
