Input string was not in a correct format

Postby copystring » Thu Jul 07, 2011 9:15 am

Hi,

I found SR 3D yesterday evening and I quite like it, if I could only use it.
The program doesn't crash when I start it but it doesn't let me chose any bricks either. I can't even open the brick-list.
When I start SR 3D I get the following error:

Code: Select all

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

EDIT: sorry, wrong forum :\

I'm getting "SR 3D Builder has stopped working" now.
I did install directx from here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... 6652cd92a3
That has changed nothing though. Any suggestions?

Hi,
restart the application and choose the "rebuild part list" tool.
Let it complete its work (it may take a pair of minutes or more)
restart the application again and it should work.

If you were using MLCad before SR3D, it is recommended to rename the c:\lDraw folder to something else before installing SR3D...

And please, use the appropriate section of the forum (Support Forum) to talk about application problems...

Thanks for the reply but like I already said, when I launch it, I get the error message "SR 3D Builder has stopped working"
